The Free Press is an independent, locally owned, twice-monthly newspaper distributed free in the NDG, Hampstead and Côte St. Luc areas of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Notre Dame de Grâce (NDG) is a part of the city of Montreal's Côte des Neiges-NDG borough and is located west of downtown and between Montreal West (to the west), Westmount (to the east), and Côte St. Luc and Hampstead (to the north). Côte St. Luc and Hampstead are independent municipalities.

Our team of local writers, designers, editors and salespeople is diverse and experienced. It includes Isaac Olson, Leonard Rauch, Martin C. Barry, Roger Haughey, Nancy Snipper, Ted Sancton and David Price.
